This policy explains what information YUX Studio collects when you use this website or book the studio, how it is used, and the choices you have. YUX Studio is operated at 14917 Oxnard St, Van Nuys, CA 91411.

What we collect

This website is a static site. It has no accounts, no login, no shopping cart and no analytics or advertising trackers. Simply reading these pages does not create a profile of you.

We receive information only when you choose to give it:

• When you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp — your name, contact details and whatever you write to us.
• When you book — the booking details you enter on the platform you booked through.
• Standard server logs — our hosting provider records IP addresses and browser information for security and reliability, in line with its own retention practices.

Bookings happen on other platforms

Studio rentals are booked through Peerspace and classes through Calendly. When you click through to either one you leave this site, and that company’s own privacy policy and payment handling apply. YUX Studio never sees or stores your full card number. We receive from them only what we need to host your booking: your name, contact details, the date and time, and what you are using the space for.

How we use it

• To answer your enquiry and arrange your booking.
• To send you information about your own reservation.
• To keep records required for tax, insurance and accounting.
• To protect the studio and resolve disputes about damage, overtime or access.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Marketing

We only send marketing email to people who asked for it. Every such email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also opt out any time by writing to Create@YUXstudio.com. Opting out of marketing does not stop messages about a booking you have made.

Who else sees your information

We share personal information only with:

• The booking and scheduling platforms named above.
• Our hosting provider, which serves these pages.
• Payment processors and our accountant, for payments and bookkeeping.
• Anyone we are legally required to disclose to, or where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

Photography and filming

Anything you shoot in the studio belongs to you. Separately, YUX Studio may photograph or film its own classes, events and the space itself. If you appear in that material and would rather not, tell us on the day or write to us afterwards and we will not use it. We will not publish images of you from your own private booking without asking first.

Security cameras

Any security cameras on the premises cover entry and common areas only, never a changing area or restroom. Footage is kept for a short period for safety and property protection, and is reviewed only if there is an incident.

Your rights in California

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by that law. To make a request, email Create@YUXstudio.com — we may need to verify your identity before we act on it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for up to two years. Booking and payment records are kept as long as tax and insurance rules require, generally seven years.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Minors attending classes or shoots must be booked and accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
